Software Developer
Description: Develops software applications per specification utilizing WebSphere Studio (RAD) 7.0; MQ Server; IBM WebSphere 6.x; Java/J2EE, including EJB’s and JSP’s; JDBC; JavaBeans; Java Script; HTML and XML. Reviews all business requirements, presents solutions and provides estimates on delivery. Analyzes client specifications and system design and makes recommendations for future revisions based on knowledge of back-office wealth management systems integration. Performs some database change requests and testing and designs batch processes. Provides status on development projects.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or other related field and five years of experience.
System Administrator/DBA
Description: Designs logical and physical databases in DB2 and designs and develops the data extract, transform, and load (ETL) using DB2 Command Center; WebSphere Administration; WebSphere Studio (RAD) 7.0; MQ Server; IBM WebSphere 6.x. Approves, schedules, plans, and supervises the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems, such as the installation of new software releases. Tests and implements databases, corrects errors and makes necessary modifications. Trains operations staff and other system administrators, answers questions and specifies users and user access for each segment of the database and application. Reviews project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish projects. Selects and enters codes to monitor database performance and to create production database. Writes and codes logical and physical database descriptions and directs others in coding descriptions. Reviews workflow charts developed by programmer analyst to understand tasks computer will perform, such as updating records. Deploys EAR files to application servers.
Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or other related field and one year of experience.
Web Service/Software Engineer
Description: Will provide enterprise-wide systems analysis, functional specifications, technical design, database design, coding and unit testing of customized wealth management software. Develops functional specifications of custom financial service software using WebSphere Studio (RAD) 7.0, DB2 UDB 9.x., IBM WebSphere 6.x, Java J2EE (including EJB’s and JSP’s), Java Servlets JMS, JDBC, JavaBeans, Java Script, HTML, SML, Log4J, Web Services and Struts. Will develop functional specifications of custom financial software to product architect and modifies with input from technical development staff. Performs analysis of system application design, makes recommendations based on client business needs and revises as necessary. Makes changes to database design as requested from technical staff. Provides status on current projects to the product architect and other technical staff members. Performs software unit testing as per project plans. Applies knowledge of best practice software development methods and testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
